Lazarus Theatre Company
Our History
Formed in 2007 we have performed across many London fringe houses.
We have performed 12 Shakespeare plays, 9 Greek dramas, 9 Early Modern dramas,
an Oscar Wilde, a Brecht and a new musical.
In 2018 we took up residency at Greenwich Theatre where we have since performed Edward II,
Lord of the Flies, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest and Salomé.
Our 2020 Season was cut short following our new production of Macbeth
due to the closure of theatres and the Coronavirus outbreak.
Our residency at Greenwich Theatre offers us a home, a space to put down roots, create and engage with our audience. The residency is vital to our commitment to securing a sustainable producing model for large scale ensemble work.
2021 will see the company undertake a major new project entitled a Year of Exploration.
